Waters rising in Lat Phrao; Din Daeng on alert

The tunnel at the Kasetsart intersection remained dry Saturday despite the road above it being partly submerged. With a huge volume of runoff water coming into the capital, fewer and fewer Bangkok district will be safe from flooding, according to an expert in water and flood management.


Food water reached Central department store in Lat Phrao Saturday, forcing it to shut operations.

Aid will go first to Nakhon Sawan, Ayutthaya where the situation is improving slowly; six-km barrier being erected during low tide period in bid to protect inner Bangkok
